missed one...a golden opportunity!

I just remembered this one while going through the latest Harper's Bazaar, and seeing the lovely glittering gold confections for the holidays.  It's very particular, not for everyone, but what a stunning piece!

  1. I've never owned a gold dress before... These are all gorgeous - my favorites, though, are the "50's Golden Holiday Party Dress" and the "Betty Draper" dress. Now if only I looked like Betty Draper, I could pull it off!

  2. Woooow, that top dress and the poofy one with the cardigan! I WANT THEM. I don't know where in the world I would wear them, but I'd just float around in them, feeling like a really short Grace Kelly!

  3. Fun huh? I love the big silver roses on the "Holiday Party Dress" and oh, I too am desperately in love with the sparkly cardigan dress. You're right, it is sooooo Grace Kelly!

I have a soft spot for the Hopes and Wishes dress with the tie- like it's from an office-themed ballet! I want it!

  4. That Vintage Golden Silk Floral dress is gorgeous... but too small to fit over my hips and bust. :(

  5. Great pick on these dresses! I wish I didn't have such a hard time with vintage things. Goodness knows how I love them, but my body just isn't made to fit them. :(

  6. Yeah, vintage can be hard for sizing, although kind of like knowing your size in a brand, I think I have it down now- I haven't bought something in awhile that didn't mostly work (knock wood). I guess I should be thankful for my short waist and hunchy shoulders!
